Enhanced global warming is the additional heat that is added to the atmosphere by having extra CO2.

A
This causes the planet to heat up more than if CO2 levels stayed steady.
(It is also sometimes referred to as climate change)

What have plants and animals go to do with enhanced global warming?
A
Plants use up carbon dioxide in the air and convert it to carbon compounds by photosynthesis.
Animals eat the carbon compounds in plants and other animals – they are their source of energy.
Plants and animals release CO2 back into the atmosphere during respiration.
