The risks can be the cost, debt, delayed income, balancing school with life, and sacrificing things but there are big rewards such as higher earnings, high employment rate, 21st century skills, and earning more by age 33

lecture, labs, seminar/studio, workshop, independent study, abroad, and online.

Academic success means that I am growing as a person, gaining knowledge, and learning skills that I can apply in my personal life.
Compare and contrast a growth mindset vs. a fixed mindset
A growth mindset is a belief that intelligence can be developed as a fixed mindset is that people are born with a set amount of intelligence.
Understand that concept of self-efficacy and how it is applied to college.
Self-efficacy is a belief that you are capable of reaching a goal this can be factored by performance experience, vicarious performances, verbal persuasion, imaginal performances, and affective states and physical sensations. (imagine that you are good beforehand)
