Un chico bueno or un buen chico?

A

Both. When bueno is used for masculine nouns and goes before the noun it looses the O.
Note: bueno is often used with Ser because in Spanish this word for “good” is normally considered a part of somethings identity

When do you use bueno and bien?

A

Bueno is if you’re talking about the moral character of someone and is often used with Ser. Bien is translated to “fine” “ok” and “good” but in terms of how you are doing and is used with Estar
