What does “ahora” mean and when is it used?
When is ahora used over ya

A

Ahora = now, the present moment or right now
“Are they here right now?” Is “están aquí ahora”

Ya = now, specific. Something recently changed.
“Now they’re here” is “ya están aquí”.
