Define Coulomb’s Law:
The force that two charges at rest exert on each other is directly proportional to the product of the charges and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.
What is the principle of conservation of charge?
The net charge of an isolated system remains constant during a physical process.
Define the principle of quantisation of charge:
Every charge in the universe is an integer multiple of the electron charge.
Define what an electric field is:
A region in space in which an electric charge experiences a force.
What are electric field lines?
A way of representing an electric field. The arrows on the field lines represent the direction of the field.
What is the electric field at a point?
The electrostatic force experience per unit of positive charge placed at that point.
What is a projectile?
An object upon which the only force acting on it is the force of gravity.
