Anterior Pituitary
Gland that regulates the body’s sodium balance
Adrenal Cortex

It stimulate growth in tissue and bone.
It is known to inhibit GI, endocrine, exocrine, pancreatic, and pituitary secretions, as well as modify neurotransmission and memory formation in the CNS.
Somatostatin Agonist
Use of Oxytocin on the Posterior Pituitary Gland
Promote delivery of placenta and control post-partum hemorrhage
It releases neurotransmitters Norepinephrine and Epinephrine in adrenal gland
Adrenal Medulla
Anti-inflammatory in all tissues, and control metabolism in muscle, fat, liver and bone.
Glucocorticoid
Utilized as a treatment for hyperthyroidism, a condition where the thyroid gland overproduces thyroid hormone. Additionally, it is utilized prior to radioactive iodine therapy or thyroid surgery.
Methimazole
A group of rare syndromes that cause a person to lose fat from some parts of the body, while gaining it in others, including on organs like the liver.
Lipodystrophy
