  • vasopressin -released to prevent dehydration
  • oxytocin - affects uterus and breast tissue
  • TSH - thyroid stimulating hormone
  • ACTH - stimulate and affect adrenal cortex
  • growth hormone - stimulates bone and tissue growth
  • FSH - promotes growth of ovarian follicle and stimulates estrogen secreation
  • LH - stimulates ovulation and corpus luteum development
  • prolactin - promotes breast development and stimulates milk production
