A

We do not do peer assessment in our college but if we did I would ask the learners to change pens and swap papers with someone else
They self assess there own work in there ILP by colouring in if they have met targets

What behaviour managent strategies do you use in the classroom

A

Encourage learners to be involved in something they might not like such as functional skills or arts and crafts
In our behaviour management policy we use emotions support to promote positive mental health and to manage behaviour
Team teach approach focuses on
Personal safety stategies- hold/guide students safely
Risk assessment which focuses on students triggers and risk reduction strategies
We use a lot of praise and prompts

A

One of my learners was outisde and they was getting upset about what another leaner was saying about there boyfriend
I then spoke to the other learner and managed to deal with the situaient so it did not deflate
I spoke to the class teacher and the teacher followed it up
I also recorded what was said on CPOMS
