Flashcards in ERDADS Deck (22):
Where are the ERFDADS Consoles located?
What is the power supply for ERFDADS?
The TSC has a battery backup that lasts an hour along with a DG to provide power after that.
How long before an alarm sounds on ERFDADS post-trip?
How do you silence an alarm on ERFDADS?
Click the silence button on the bottom of the screen
What do the shapes indicate next to a parameter reading on ERFDADS?
solid box - steady value
up arrow - increasing trend
down arrow - decreasing trend
What happens to the grey Radiation Monitor access button when one of the Radiation Monitors goes to Alert on ERFDADS?
The grey box turns yellow.
What happens to the normally grey button if NPSH is exceeded on ERFDADS?
It turns yellow.
What happens to the normally grey button if the subcooling limit is exceeded on ERFDADS?
It turns red.
How is the RCS Leak Rate trend displayed on ERFDADS?
30 minute trend divided into four 7.5 minute sections
What does ERFDADS use to calculate RCS Leak Rate?
Tave, VCT, PZR, and density using a linear regression
What does acceptance testing show for how RCS Leak Rate will alarm in ERFDADS?
That a 30 gpm leak will alarm at 8 gpm in less than 3 minutes.
How do indicated and actual leak rate correlate on ERFDADS when a RCS leak is registered?
Indicated leak rate < Actual leak rate for the first 7.5 minutes.
What indication is there of a constant leak in the RCS on ERFDADS?
Constant slope for the first 7.5 minutes
What indication is there of a degrading leak in the RCS on ERFDADS?
Exponential slope for the first 7.5 minutes
When does the STA have to activate the modem link to the NRC?
Within 1 hour of Alert or higher
What does a green parameter mean in ERFDADS?
What does a magenta parameter mean in ERFDADS?
failed validity check
What does a white parameter mean in ERFDADS?
What does a orange parameter mean in ERFDADS?
rate of change setpoint exceeded
What does a yellow parameter mean in ERFDADS?
high/low setpoint exceeded (can manually change setpoint)
What does a red parameter mean in ERFDADS?
high-high/low-low setpoint exceeded
