8 General rules of first aid
1.Keep victims ___ down.

- If a bone is broken, or you suspect it is broken, do not move the victim until the limb has been immobilized.
- Never remove an impaled object, simply secure the object in its current location.
- Keep injured persons comfortably warm.
Basic rules for treating wounds

- Maintain breathing
- Treat for shock (shock is a serious disturbance in the circulation of the blood)
- Prevent infection
