Different methods of hacking :
🟡passive attacks - packet sniffing
🟡active attacks - using malware to attack a system directly

Q

What are some environmental issues with technology?

A

🟡electronic devices contain lots of raw materials (plastics from crude oil) (precious metals that require a lot of energy for extraction)
🟡most electricity made from non renewable resources (coal, oil, gas) , which creates a lot of green house gases
🟡devices waste a lot of energy, as only a small amount of the processing power is used
🟡throwing away devices can create a lot of E-waste, modern devices have a very small life
🟡to cut costs a lot of E waste sent to Africa and Asia, creating a landfill which is hazardous and releases toxic chemicals to the locals and wildlife
