What happens in the Requirment phase of evaluating an ERP solution?
During this phase you have to identify the goals, challenges, and needs of the business, through questionanaires, intervies or business process analysis, once these should result into a list of requirments for the business. From these requiremnts select 10 ERP solutions matching these requirments
What happens in the Developing of a Shortlist of ERP solutions phase of ERP evaluation?
From the 10 potential ERP solutions you can now reduce the list 59 2-4 solutions and you do this by comparing certain critical features or Differentiators including

Intallation Base: How many companies are using the ERP, this is to eveluate the popularity, trust, and how many people have tested the ERP.
Training Availability: How easy is ti to find trainign programs, or turorials for the ERP
Technical Support: How available is the ERP vendor to grant support when somthing goes wrong also what is the quality of said support
Industry Relevance: How does the ERP solution fit the industry in which the business finds its self.
What happens in the final selection phase of selecting/evaluating and ERP solution.
In this phase you arrage a demos/demonstrations with the shorlisted ventors and from this demos evaluate how ell the ERP handles the business’ business processes, required modules, and intergration with current sytem. You also have to select the best solution based cost, usability, customizaiton needs and the reputaion of the vendor.
What happens in the implementation planing phase or ERP selection or evaluation?
At this phase you asses the implementation methodology offered by the vendore by reviewing, thier support and maintanance plans, traning programs, data migration stratey and system scalability. after that plan timeses and resorces allocation for the ERP rollout.

Cost benefit analysis is done before the ERP choice is made considerting cost like like hardware, software, one-time-setup, customazation, maintanance and anual fees cost, amount many orders. while expecting benefits like faster business processes, better decission making from accurated data, bbetter customer service, etc.
