Evaluation of Bandura Flashcards

1
Q

Strength’s with control?

A
  • Such high control that it is easy to make conclusions on cause and effect
  • Standardised procedures so easily replicated

Q

Strength regarding data collected?

A

-Quantitative data such as the amount of times different aggressive behaviour was carried out
-Can be analysed using inferential statistical tests
to show how likely results are down to chance

Q

Weakness regarding ecological validity?

A

Not ecologically valid as the child and model are strangers for example which is unlike normal modelling which would take place between family so we have to be careful generalising the findings

Q

Ethics?

A
  • Carried out before ethical guidelines
  • Parents did give consent for children who took part
