Circumcision
Circumcision was done at a place called Gilgal. In Hebrew, the name Gilgal means to rollaway
Passover
They eat the Passover and celebrated. The males must be circumcised before eating the Passover. No one could take communion until they were baptized. Instead of fighting right away, they celebrated festivals, eating unleavened bread for a week, and killing sheep. Joshua’s thought was we must fight the way God calls us to and he will take care of the rest
The manna stopped
Now that they were in the land, they must eat of the fruit of the land. God sustained them where there was no food in the wilderness. Now, things are different. They were in a place where they had to put the responsibility back on themselves to find the food. Raising the crops and so forth.

Joshua is a season voyeur and when he meets the captain of heaven‘s armies, he sees that this person has a drawn sword. Joshua asked him, who side he was on. The Angel replied I am for neither. I am the captain of the lords hosts. Take your shoes off for the grounds in which you are standing is holy. Most commentators believe that Angel was Jesus
