A

are simply lighter styles due to provenance of grapes, less thourough extraction and the addition of white port. Lesser vineyards and vintages contribute to these wines; Displays more coffee, dried fruit and nuts. It displays a lighter color from aging in wood and is historically aged in Vila Nova de Gaia (although no longer mandatory since 1986). Does NOT improve with bottle age
