Cost Variance (CV)
CV = BCWP - ACWP
Cost Variance = Budgeted Cost of Work Performed minus Actual Cost of Work Performed
Positive is favorable, negative is unfavorable

Cost Variance Percentage
CV% = (CV/BCWP) * 100
CV% = (Cost Variance divided by Budgeted cost of work performed) times 100
CV % = ((BCWP-ACWP)/BCWP) * 100
Schedule Variance (SV)
SV = BCWP - BCWS
Schedule Variance = Budgeted Cost of Work Performed minus Budgeted Cost of Work Scheduled
SV = (what we said we’d get done minus what we actually got done in hours/cost)

SV % = (SV/BCWS) * 100

VAC = BAC - EAC
Variance at Completion = Budget at Completion minus Estimate at Completion
VAC = Baseline minus Forecast/current Status

Variance at Completion Percentage = (Variance At Completion divided by Budget At Completion) times 100
VAC % = ((BAC-EAC)/BAC) * 100
Overall Percent Scheduled
% Scheduled = (BCWScum / BAC) *100
% Scheduled = (cumulative budgeted cost of work scheduled divided by Budget At completion) times 100
% Scheduled = (cumulative work scheduled now divided by baseline) times 100
Overall Complete Percentage
% Complete = (BCWPcum / BAC) * 100
% Complete = (Cumulative budget cost of work performed divided by Budget At Completion) times 100
% Complete = (total work done now divided by baseline) * 100
Overall Percent Spent
% Spent = (ACWPcum / BAC) * 100
% Spent = (cumulative actual cost of work performed divided by Budget At Completion) times 100
% Spent = ( Actual cost of work done now divided by baseline) * 100
Cost Efficiency or Cost Performance Index (CPI)
CPI = BCWP / ACWP
Cost Performance Index = Budget Cost of Work Performed divided by Actual Cost of Work Performed
CPI = Baseline work / actual work done
Favorable is > 1.0
Unfavorable is < 1.0
Schedule Efficiency or Schedule Performance Index (SPI)
SPI = BCWP / BCWS
Schedule Performance Index = Budgeted Cost of Work Performed divided by Budgeted Cost of Work Scheduled
SPI = Baseline / Forecast
Favorable is > 1.0
Unfavorable is < 1.0
BEI - Baseline Execution Index
BEI = Total Tasks Complete / (Total tasks with Baseline Finish On or Prior to current Status/data Date + Tasks without baseline finish dates)
Hit Task %
Hit Task % = 100 * (Tasks in denominator that completed On or Before baseline finish / Tasks baselined to finish within current status or data date reporting cycle)

Estimate at Completion
EAC = Actuals to Date + (Remaining Work / Performance Index)
EAC CPI = ACWPcum + [(BAC - BCWPcum) / CPIcum]
EAC SPI = ACWPcum + [(BAC - BCWPcum) / SPIcum]
EAC Composite
EACcomposite = ACWPcum + [(BAC - BCWPcum) / (CPIcum * SPIcum)]

TCPI target = Work remaining / cost remaining
