what happens in mark 4:3-20? (soil)
-Jesus tells a parable about a farmer sewing seeds
-some fell on the path and birds ate it
-some fell on the rocky places but it quickly died because it had no roots
-some fell on good soil and produced a good crop
-Jesus then explains that this is like His message falling on people’s ears

-He says that you don’t hide a lamp under a bowl but place it on a stand so it can give light to everyone around

-people tried to chain him up but it didn’t work

-as Jesus approaches the demon inside of him questions what Jesus wants and proclaims that He is the Son of God

-He sends the demons out of the man and into a herd of pigs
