what is an IV?
The independent variable that is changed by the person performing the experiment.
what is a DV?
The dependent variable is the variable that is dependent on the IV It is the variable being changed or affected by the IV.
What is DRY MIX?
DRY is - dependent, responding, y-axis
MIX is - manipulated, independent, x-axis
What would you call your experiment when performing it
run or trial
what are the two types of experimental groups?
experimental and controlled groups.
How do you know when you have a good hypothesis?
When it explains what the IV is and the DV of the experiment.
What is the difference between a experimental trial and a control trial?
The experimental is where you change the independent variable every time.
The control is where you have The DV not get affected by anything and then change the IV so you know for sure it was the IV that changed the DV.
