• on empty stomach
• Swallow tablet whole w/ a full glass of water
• take at least 30 mins before food or anything other than water
• sit upright for 30 mins after swallowing- decrease risk of reflux
• wait 30 mins- 2h to eat
• don’t lie down until eaten something
