- Machines did not have any guards on them
* People were crushed or lost limbs

A
- Orphan child workers in the factories
* They worked for factory owners in exchange for food, clothing and a bed

- Factory mangers who made factory work as hard as possible
* They often would beat the children’s (and sometimes even adults)
