Characteristic of FNCP
Nurse Measures
Status of the family as a client
Ability to maintain itself or a system and a functioning unit
Ability to maintain wellness, prevent, control or release problems
A situation or condition that interest with the promotion of health and maintenance and recover from illness or injury
Health Problem
A situation which interferes with the promotion of health maintenance and recover from illness and injury of which is subject to modification through nursing intervention

Refers to the family’s perception and evaluation of the condition or problem in terms of seriousness and urgency of attention needed or family readiness
Salience
a general statement of the condition or state to be brought about by specific course of action
Goal
Refers to more specific statements of the desired results
