A

The failure of the British government to properly deal with the famine, led to many Irish people blaming them for their suffering
Anger, over things like the exportation of food led to a growing belief that Britain should not control Irish affairs. This anti British sentiment led to a rise in support for the nationalists groups and the home rule movement

the Gaelic league trained teachers called ‘timirí’ to teach Irish to local communities
