Land heats up and cools down quicker than land so in the summer if you are on the coast your more likely to be cooler as you are near the cooler water and in the winter inland will be colder and the ground cools down and heats up quicker than water

convectional=when the land and the air around it is warmed ,rises and condenses and causes rainfall.
what is relief rainfall
Relief =relief rainfall is when warm moist air rises and cools down up a mountain and rains,then the cool air travels back down the other side of the mountain and becomes warm again leaving one side of the mountain dry
what is frontal rainfall
Frontal=frontal rainfall is when cold and warm air meet and the cooler air descends and the warmer air rises .the cold air condenses and forms clouds and the warm air rises and cools down causing heavy rain
