  • Respond to the designated emergency access gate
  • Request all additional information from FireCom
  • Use MMR channel 52 to communicate with Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF). This does not replace the fireground channel nominated by FireCom on turnout. This is a communications channel to speak to ARFF only
  • Obtain directions from the control tower or ASA Safety Officer (direct or via FireCom)
  • Forward command post is indicated by a single flashing blue light
  • Exercise extreme caution when crossing runways/taxiways
  • Liaise with airport/firefighting personnel on scene
