- Respond to the designated emergency access gate
- Request all additional information from FireCom
- Use MMR channel 52 to communicate with Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF). This does not replace the fireground channel nominated by FireCom on turnout. This is a communications channel to speak to ARFF only
- Obtain directions from the control tower or ASA Safety Officer (direct or via FireCom)
- Forward command post is indicated by a single flashing blue light
- Exercise extreme caution when crossing runways/taxiways
- Liaise with airport/firefighting personnel on scene
