How are Indigenous Peoples represented in the Media?
Indigenous People are represented in limited (stereotypes) ways in the Media.
How does the perception of the Indian affect European settlers (Canadians)?
The identity of the Indian (false) allows for the European settlers to position themselves as superior. It also helps Canadians to find a unique identity (by finding an identity based on what they’re not).
