What is BAC?
Blood alcohol content (concentration)
A method of measuring alcohol in the blood
Offender of drunk driving over or equal to .08%
How do the effects of alcohol change based on weight?
More body weight= Body absorbs alcohol less
Smokeless Tobacco
Tobacco that is chewed or snuffed as opposed to being smoked
Contrary to popular belief, it is still carcinogenic- can cause oral cancer, esophageal cancer, and pancreatic cancer
Also, increased risk of heart attack
Side stream Smoke
smoke which goes into the air directly from a burning cigarette, cigar, or smoking pipe.
Secondhand Smoke
smoke inhaled involuntarily from tobacco being smoked by others.
Mainstream Smoke
the smoke that a smoker inhales and then exhales
Gateway Drugs
a habit-forming drug that, while not itself addictive, may lead to the use of other addictive drugs.
