How often should u drink water while exercising
Before during and after
What is a warm up, how do u know when ur warmed up, and what is an example
Gentle exercises that get the heart and muscles ready for moderate to vigorous physical activity. You know when u are warmed up when u begin to sweat and breath more heavily. Walking or jogging for 5-10 mins
What is a cooldown and example
Gentle exercises that let the body adjust to ending a workout. Should last for 5-10 mins and an example is light stretching to help muscles relax
What are heat cramps
Painful brief muscle cramps that occur during exercise in a hot environment caused by dehydration
What is heat exhaustion
Heat illness caused by overheating, heavy sweating, dizziness, weakness and rapid pulse
What is a heat stroke
Caused by bodies inability to regulate temperature, hot dry skin, elevated body temp, lack of sweat, hallucinations
