Age under 19, primarily school-age children.
Family income below 200% of the federal poverty level.
Not eligible for Medicaid, except children under 5.
Not covered by employer’s health care coverage due to eligibility or affordability reasons.
Children with family income over 200% of the federal poverty level eligible for Medikids program until age 5.
Limits on enrollment and benefits may be imposed to prevent adverse selection.
Participation of children with family income over 200% of the federal poverty level capped at 10% of total enrollees
