  1. OEI flight condition
  2. < 100 kts
  3. Raise guard/press fire sw
  4. Press Bot1/Bot2
  5. Start clock
  6. Identify affected engine
  7. Single eng emer shutdown
  8. Alert passengers
    9.LASA possible
    If fire light on after 1 min
    10.press bot1/bot2
    If remains- land immediately.

A

-establish OEI flight conditions
-identify affected engine
-adjust to 20-30 torque
-monitor oil temp
If engine oil temp decreases-LASA practical
If remains:
-single engine emer shutdown

Tail rotor drive/ fixed pitch failure

A

-Reduce collective for min side slip angle
-maintain 70kts or higher
-select suitable landing area
-shallow approach with nose left
-reduce to 40kts with nose pointing left
-reduce speed/land when nose points direction of flight
- if nose swing to right before 40kts, go around and autorotate

A

-raise collective to n2/bro in limits
-check manual mode
-try to trim to 101%
If that doesn’t work
-identify affected engine
-rotate towards idle till needles match

Engine under speed-gov failure

A

-Oei flight conditions
-bleed air consumers off
-check manual mode
-identify affected engine
-N2 trim switch
If tq match is not possible,
-release stop on twist grip and rotate towards flight untill stabilized.
LASA practical.
