Infraspinatus
O: infraspinatus fossa
I: lateral greater tubercle of humerus between supraspinatus and teres minor tendons
A: shoulder flexor (or extends), ABducts shoulder, rotates arm lateraally and jt stabilizer
Supraspinatus
O: supraspinatus fossa
I: greater tubercle of humerus with a thick tendon cranial to infraspinatus tendon
A: Extends shoulder
Teres minor
O: distal 1/3 of the caudal border of the scapula and infraglenoid tubercle
I: greater tubercle of humerus caudal to the tendon of the infraspinatus
A: shoulder flexor and externally rotates arm
Deltoideus
O: spine of scapula and acromion
I: deltoid tuberosity
A: shoulder flexor and ABducts humerus
Teres major
O: caudal angle and border of scapula
I: (medially) teres major tuberosity
A: shoulder flexor and medially rotates arm
subscapularis
O: subscapular fossaa
I: lesser tubercle
A: ADducts and EXTends shoulder
anconeus
O: distal humerus just proximal to elbow (lateral epicondylar crest and lateral and medial epicondyles)
I: lateral surface of proximal 1/8th of ulna
A: EXTends elbow
Triceps
O:
(3 HUMERAL heads)
1) Medial- medial surface of humerus
2) Lateral- tricipital line of humerus
3) Accessory - neck of humerus
4) (SCAPULAR head)- caudal border of scapula
I: olecranon
A: EXTend elbow and (long head only) flexes shoulder
biceps brachii
O: supraglenoid tubercle
I: ulna and radius tuberosities medially just distal to elbow
A: flexes elbow and shoulder EXTender
