Articles of Confederation
First rendetion of the Consitutuion, was super ass so it failed. Due to Shay’s Rebellion they realized the government couldn’t do anything to stop it so they were like mannn screw that AOC.
So they made the constitution,

A unitary executive is needed so that someone can make quick decisions quickly and run the country more efficiently. If there is a problem everyone can point to one leader instead of pointing the blame at others.
