A

difficulty with voluntary movement, the more they try the harder it gets to move
autonomic movement is undisturbed

what are the typical symptoms of a functional seizure

A

resistant to eye-opening
eyes shut during the attack
patient is responsive during generalised shaking attack
memory of seizure
duration of more than 3mins
rapid respiration during generalised shaking attack
(opposite to an epileptic seizure)
