The pinion rotates and moves the rack in a straight line

The worm wheel was like a normal gear wheel or spur gear
What do bevel gears do?
They change the direction of drive in the gear system by 90 degrees

The main mechanism for a hand drill
How does the hand drill work
As the handle of the drill is turn in a vertical direction, the bevel gears changes the rotation to a horizontal rotation

The teeth will mesh

Gear A turns anti-clockwise
Gear B turns clockwise

What does the driver mean
It will be connected to a handle or a motor and provides the input motion
What does driven mean
It will provide the output motion

Number of teeth on the driven divided by number of teeth in the driver
