Q

Steps of genetic engineering

A
  1. Cut out desired gene with restriction enzymes
  2. Use same restruction enzymes to cut plasmid to create complementary sticky ends
  3. Insert gene and use DNA ligase to joint the fragment to the plasmid
  4. Insert plasmid into organism cells so the gene can be expressed
  5. Culture the cell by cloning.
