He was a prominent figure in the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and is best known for his textile designs, as well as his writings on socialism and craftsmanship. The Bloomsbury Group, a circle of influential intellectuals and artists in the early 20th century, was inspired by Morris’s ideas on art and society.
