What is the difference between A320 NEO / LR / XLR?

A

NEO= New engine option (CFM LEAP or PRATT PW1100)

A320 NEO= 500nmi more range than CEO. (around 930km) + 15% better fuel efficiency (due to new engine + sharklets)

A320LR= Addition of 3 auxiliary fuel tank - total range: 4000nmi (7400km).

A320XLR= New permanent RCT (rear center tank) + strenghtened landing gear, optimised trailing-edge flap configuration. Total range= 4700nmi (8700km)
