Q

How does the order of the pairs of bases affect the cells?

A

The order of the bases codes for the production of proteins. Every three bases codes for an amino acid which then combine to form proteins

Q

How are proteins made from genetic code in the nucleus?

A

Genetic code for proteins are in the nucleus, this code is copied and then leaves the nucleus as mRNA to carry it to the cytoplasm where they are made.

Q

How are cells specialised and unspecialised?

A

All body cells in an organism contain the same genes but depending on what is required some are turned off. In stem cells either all are available to be turned on or just some for specific things (adult stem cells). For specialised cells certain genes are turned and those not needed turned off.
