What is Downs syndrome?
A
Down’s syndrome is caused by a mutation resulting from an extra chromosome at the 21st pair so there are 47 instead of 46. Individuals with this condition have learning disability and often heart defects.

A
Caused due to a recessive allele that makes an individual unable to process amino acids.
