two forms of the same gene, use letters to represent them

A
the genetic makeup, e.g your alleles (always a pair of letters)

what is a phenotype?
A
the chracteristics you have because of your genotype
. the dominant allele will show the phenotype when present with a CAPITAL letter!

describe a recessive allele and a dominant allele

. recessive allele - hidden
. dominant allele will be present in a heterozygote ( presented with a upper case letter)
