Symptoms

A

Mostly asymptomatic

Vulval lesions - painless and slow growing
Local skin irritation- pruritis and burning
Catch on clothing
Superficial dyspanuria
Physiological distress

A

Atypical lesion –> biopsy

Last smear >3 years –> C smear

Management

A

Aim is to destroy visible warts

Medical:
Podophyllin paint - apply weekly (high recurrence - 50-60%)
Trichloroacetic acid

Physical:
Cryotherapy
Laser therapy/electrocautary

Advise:
Contact tracing
Wear condoms with new sexual partners
