Hernias, previous surgery, vomiting, constipation

IBD [Crohn’s, Coeliac, Corhn’s]

Either infective gastroenteritis or traveller’s diarrhoea
Pain radiates to the neck, vomiting relieves the pain
GORD
Abdo pain relieved by defecation/farting
IBS
Vomiting, pain radiates to the back, acute on chronic, dull, relieved by sitting forwards, steady pain
Pancreatitis
Questions to ask if female?
Menstrual period, pregnant
Jaundice, RUQ pain, comes and goes, related to fatty foods, relieved by movement
Gallstones [biliary colic pain]

AID, alcohol excess, gallstones, idiopathic, trauma [IGETSMASHED]
Loin to groin pain, comes and goes, relieved by movement, urinary Sx [possbily]
Ureteric colic [stones]
Loin pain, think radiating to the umbilicus
Renal stones
Projectile vomiting, vomiting old food
Gastric outlet obstruction
Abdominal pain, vomiting, constipation, green vomit
Small bowel obstruction
Abdominal pain, vomiting, constipation, faecal vomit
Large bowel obstruction
Coffee ground vomit, blood also
Ulcer [gastric?]
Vomiting with no N&V, especially in mornings
Neuro related cause
Important cancer question in relation to vomiting
Early satiety after eating?
Vomiting history
