Developed Stated

A

A developed country is a sovereign state that has a highly developed economy and an advanced technological infrastructure relative to other less industrialized nations. Most commonly, the criteria for evaluating the degree of economic development is gross domestic product (GDP), the per capita income, level of industrialization, amount of widespread infrastructure and general standard of living.

Globalization

A

Globalization is the process of expanding companies through communication
It aims towards creating equal living conditions for everyone as more job opportunities are created. Globalization has resulted in a greater dependence on the global economy. Through globalization international trade has increased not only throughout developed countries but also in developing countries.

Examples of Globalization:

A T-shirt that was sold in Canada that was made in Indonesia using Chinese cotton that was transported by a French ship with a German crew.

The olympics - started in Greece and spread worldwide
The franchise of fast food restaurants such as McDonald’s, Pizza Hut , Subway, KFC,
clothing brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, American Eagle, New Look, H&M, Forever 21, Mango, All Star (converse), Vans, Tally Weijl.
Food: People in Europe could eat Indian or people in Brazil could eat sushi.

Developing Country

A

A poor country that mostly depends on agricultural industries, and seeks to become more advanced economically and socially. Developing countries have a low level of material well-being (not to be confused with third world countries). The levels of development may vary widely within so-called developing countries, as the exact definition of the word may vary. Some developing countries have high average standards of living. The developing countries produce lots of products for the world and the developing countries have

Human Development Index (HDI)

A

HDI is the Human Development Index. The Human Development Index shows the overall statistics of a countries population. These statistics include that of GDP(Gross Domestic Product), Income Per Capita(average income per person), Education, and overall life expectancy.

HDI is the actual human development index, this includes all the stats that HDI does not.
It is related to how failed a country is on the failed states index. Normally, the countries that are low on the failed states index (Finland being the lowest in 178) score higher on the HDI.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP)

A

Gross Domestic Product is based on many aspects but the three main ones are the income, favorable balance of trade, and the wealth of the country.
