What is glycosylated hemoglobin?
A
AKA HgbA1C. It is a reflection of how well blood glucose levels have been well controlled for the past 3-4 months.
An increase is due to hyperglycemia

What are the normal ranges of HgbA1C?
A
4-6%
Poor glycemic control in a patient with DM is usually the cause of increase HgbA1c.
