A

-Members are called the “peers”–800+
- Traditionally what are known as “peers” now they were Dukes and barons(had hereditary position)
-92 hereditary peers
-26 Church Of England bishops and archbishops
-The rest of the “peers” are life members(They cant pass down their peerage)
-Laws are double checked
