The Angono Petroglyps Site Museum in Binangonan, Rizal, was discovered by National Artist Carios “Botong Francisco. In 1965. The site, containing primitive drawings, was later recognized as a National Cultural Treasure by Presidential Decree No. 260. The museum showcases Rizal’s cultural and artistic heritage in the same year the National Museum fielded an interdisciplinary research team headed by Archaeologist Alfredo Evangelista and recovered four stone tools from the site.
