  1. use most recent data pt and follow percentile to 20 yrs to predict final stature to accuracy of ± 5 cm without using parental height
  2. assume height is completely dependent on genetics to predict final stature to ± 3 cm accuracy, for female (father’s height -13 cm + mother’s height)/2, for male (father’s height + 13 cm + mother’s height)/2
