Spermatic cord contents:
3 arteries, 3 nerves, 3 fascias, 3 other things:
3 arteries: testicular, deferential, cremasteric
3 nerves: genital branch of the genitofemoral, cremasteric nerve*, sympathetic nerve fibers
3 fascias: external spermatic fascia, cremasteric fascia, internal spermatic fascia
3 other things: ductus deferens, pampiniform plexus, lymphatic vessels
*NB some texts do not include the cremasteric nerve 1
Male urethra
The length is 18-20 cm
4 parts: Penile the longest Membranous the narrowest and shortest 2cm and the fixed one Bolbous Prostatic is the widest
Anterior urethra (Penile and bulber urethra): examined by —> ascending urethrogram
Posterior urethra (Membernous and prostatic): examined by —> micturating or descending cystourethrogrm
Most common injured urethra in general is the membranous bec it is fixed by the urogenital diaphragm and the mechanism usually blunt trauma (saddle injury)
In the anterior urethra the commonest to be injured is the penile
The verumontanum or seminal colliculus is the rounded eminence of the urethral crest within the posterior wall of the mid prostatic urethra. The prostatic utricle opens into it in the midline and the two ejaculatory ducts open just distal to the utricle. On either side of it lie the prostatic sinuses, where numerous prostatic ducts drain.

Prostate : obturator and internal iliac LNs anteriorly and sacral LNs posteriorly
Testicles: para-aortic LNs
Scrotum: superficial inguinal LNs
Female:
Upper 2/3 of vagina: internal and external iliac LNs anteriorly and sacral LNs post
Lower 1/3 of vagina: superficial inguinal LNs
