2. Place other arm around the hindquarters

1. 2 people end down on same side of the dog
2. 1 person restrain the dogs head by putting 1 arm around the neck and the other around the chest
3. 2nd person place 1 arm around the abdomen and the other around the hindquarters

Standing restraint

1. Place one hand in front of dogs neck
2. Place other hand just in front of rear legs on the abdomen and cradle the dogs head in the crook of your arm
3. Pull dog towards you until it is snug against you

Sitting restraint

1. Place your arm around the hind quarters
2. Tuck the dog into a sitting position
3. Place your other arm around the dogs neck so its head rests in your elbow
4. Pull dog towards you until snug
