Q

Risk assessment

A

Risk assessment - a document that takes into account any risk in the workplace, considers the level of risk and suggests what precautions should be taken to limit the risk.

- Employers with five or more employees are required (by law) to record and conduct risk assessments in the work place. Not all risks can be eliminated but as long as the employer does everything within their control to identify potential hazards and minimise risk than they cannot be held accountable if it is out of their control.
