Improved cardiovascular endurance = heart, blood vessels and lungs work more efficiently - blood pressure decreases

- High chlosterol and fatty deposits in arteries = high blood pressure/risk of strokes/coronary heart disease

How do you determine if someone is obese
BMI - Body Mass index
Calculated using your height and weight
Why is BMI not always accurate
Doesn’t take into account musle mass or bone structure
Can incorrectly classify healthy muscular people as overweight or under weight
BMI Scale
Underweight - below 18.5
Healthy Weight - between 18.5 and 25
Overweight - between 25 and 30
Obese - 30 or over
